Patty Griffin is one of the most consequential singer-songwriters of her generation, a quintessentially American folk artist whose wide-ranging canon incisively explores the intimate moments and universal emotions that bind us. Over the course of two decades, the Grammy winner and seven-time nominee has crafted a remarkable body of work.

Griffin is widely regarded as one of the best pure songwriters of this or any other era, and her songs have been performed by an assortment of artists, including Linda Ronstadt, Emmylou Harris, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, and Melissa Etheridge. Her songs have also been featured in films, TV shows, and theatrical productions. Having crafted a rich catalog that chronicles love and death, heartache and joy, connection and detachment, Griffin continues to push her music forward, imbuing every effort with compassion and craft, uncanny perception, and ever-increasing ingenuity.

In 2019, Griffin released her 10^th studio record, Patty Griffin, which won a Grammy for Best Folk Album. Griffin’s latest, Tape, a collection of home recordings and rarities, was released in 2022.
